INFORMATION: COVID 19 Update

Safety Equipment

Helmets:
These are one time use by a customer.
Anyone hiring equipment must have a NEW balaclava to use.
Once used they are placed in a designated area where a member of staff will fully sanitise them with a 70% Ethanol based cleaner and allow to dry before being put back into use.

Paintball Goggles:
These are one time use by a customer.
Once used they are placed in a designated area where a member of staff will fully sanitise them with a 70% Ethanol based cleaner and allow to dry before being put back into use.

Overalls:

These are one time use by a customer.
After use these are placed into a laundry bin to be washed on a 40+ degree cycle

Gloves:
We are not hiring out gloves, customers must wear their own or purchase a pair.

Safety Briefings

Karting:

Indoor Video briefing issued to all drivers.
Due to indoor environment, Instructing staff member to wear face mask while starting the video.
Number of seats reduced to 12 and suitably spaced to allow current distancing requirements with groups of 6

Paintball / Airsoft / Laser Tag:

Outdoor verbal Safety Briefing
Instructor remains 3+ metres away from groups during this

General Site Measures

Entrance / Exit Points:
Sanitising stations at all entrance points of buildings, signage stating customers are to sanitise their hands on entry and exit of the premises.
Where possible building doors will be left open to reduce contact with handles.

Walk-ways:
Taped floor markings on traffic flow areas to ensure distancing where possible when moving though the building, toilet corridors are narrower and unable to be marked, warning signs placed at toilets entrances to state this.

Cleaning:
Doors, hand rails, contact points and toilets will be regularly inspected and cleaned throughout operational hours.

Group Sizes:
Groups will be limited to a maximum of 6 people.

Registration system:
This has been upgraded to allow sign in via tablets when on site, these are easier to wipe clean than the previous keyboard and mouse system. The new system also allows the participant to register prior to arrival.

Karting specific

Pitlane
Karts will be started prior to customers entering the pitlane, this reduces the amount of times staff will need to be near the customer when doing the safety checks.
Pitlane marshals are to wear face masks when dealing with customers.

Circuit marshals will have face masks available for when dealing directly with customers.

Karts
After each session steering wheels will be wiped with a suitable Covid-19 cleaning product
