These sessions are perfect to give younger children the chance to try karting in a friendly, children only environment.
Dates:
Typically every Saturday & Sunday , 9.30 arrival
Other dates may be available during school holidays
These sessions will be split into groups and we cannot guarantee that drivers will be in the same session as others in their booking
Each session consists of all safety equipment (overalls, helmet, gloves), safety briefings and tuition and assistance as required. The juniors will have in total 20 minutes of track driving time. You will need to allow around 1 hour to complete the sessions.
These sessions only have other children of a similar age on circuit
THE TRACK
Simple ways to shave seconds off your laptime
Without the simple theory of losing a couple of pounds, these tips might help you find your way onto the podium.
– Be as smooth as you can, a common mistake made while racing is trying too hard, any aggressive turning or braking will affect the karts behaviour.
– Sit back and relax, learning forward, jumping up and down in the seat, or hanging out of the kart while going around a corner only disrupts the intended balance of the kart.
Hearing tyres screech around the track may sound impressive, but the kart is actually going sideways instead of forwards.
Anyone can go fast into a corner, but 9/10 times the driver will either run wide or find a tyre wall to slow them down.
